How to Delete Your Apex Fitness Account
We're sorry to see you go. If you wish to delete your Apex Fitness account and all associated data, you have two options:
Option 1: Delete from the App
- Open the Apex Fitness app
- Go to the "You" tab
- Tap "Settings" (gear icon)
- Scroll to the "Danger Zone" section
- Tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm your decision
Option 2: Request Deletion via Email
Send an email to support@apexfitness.ai from the email address associated with your account with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
⚠️ 30-Day Soft-Delete — You Can Still Restore
When you delete your account we perform a 30-day soft-delete: your account is immediately signed out and hidden, and all personal data is scheduled for permanent purge 30 days later. During that window you may sign back in with your email + password to restore the account and all its data.
After 30 days, the following will be permanently purged and cannot be recovered:
- Your profile and account information
- All workout logs and exercise history
- All nutrition logs, meal plans, and scanned barcode history
- All cardio sessions, including any GPS routes you recorded
- All recovery metrics (sleep, soreness, energy, stress)
- All personal records and achievements
- All saved workout programs
- Your subscription (you will not be charged further)
After the 30-day window this action cannot be undone.
What Happens to Your Subscription?
If you have an active subscription:
- Apple App Store: Your subscription will be cancelled. You will not be charged for future periods.
- Stripe (Web): Your subscription will be cancelled immediately.
Note: Apple may require you to also cancel through your Apple ID subscription settings to prevent future charges.
Data Retention
After account deletion:
- Account is soft-deleted and hidden immediately; all personal data is queued for permanent purge 30 days later
- Sign back in within 30 days to restore the account and all data
- After 30 days, data is fully purged from our systems (including GPS cardio routes, scanned barcode history, and recovery metrics)
- Backups containing your data are destroyed within 90 days
- Anonymized, aggregated analytics may be retained (no personal identifiers)
